Hi all, I've found some fantastic looking running boards for the T1/T2. These are new to the market I believe, and are far more classy than any of the more 'blingy' stuff on the market. Ful length running boards also invaluable for roof box access, bike rack access and cleaning etc. I'm hoping to obtain a pair and install them and may look into supplying them if they are as good as they look. Let me know what you think.

Not a fan of running boards on the Treg. They also take away ground clearance if you have a steel suspended Treg and offroad it.

They look just like the ones my neighbor has on his brand new Acura MDX, which came factory installed. I need to get my tape out to see if they are the right length for my treg. They are the nicest looking ones that I have seen.

My wife has a MDX with running boards. I can easily step into the MDK/Touareg and I find the extra distance that the running board extends out makes it a PIA to climb into her car. I guess I could use the board, but seems too awkward.

I open the doors and stand in the doorway for access to the roof when washing. I don't even have the cross rails on my Touareg, so bikes and kayaks aren't in the equation for me. I have seen a step that you can throw on the tire, to get access to the roof.

Also having the air suspension - lowering the truck to loading height helps...
That's what I do when I drive my 82 year old friend to her doctors appointments. The 'Lady level' works great, making it easier for her to get in and out of the car.

So did you install the conner steps. I have been in contact with Conner and came across your post. Not cheap, have asked them about quanity pricing, I am in Australia.
