DRL's on '07 V6

I was just wondering if anybody has the code for disabling the Daytime Running Lights on an '07 3.6L V6?

I was hoping to completely disable the lights when the engine is on, which would only be active when I physically turn on the switch in the vehicle when outside conditions dictate.
I think it's ridiculous having the bi-xexon's running all the time when the engine is on.


While we're at it,
What about switching to 24hr clock?
And the door chime when the key is in the ignition? There are others I have on my Jetta but they aren't coming to me right now :rolleyes:

I tried searching but must have missed these things.

The DRLs you should find in the DYI forum since yours is still a T1 and use the short coding. I assume you have access to a VAG-COM.

24 hour clock you can try setting your Treg to Europe in the Convenience Settings in the VAG-COM. Of course that may (will) change your speed settings from mph to kph as well as temp. (F to C).

Sorry, my bad, I pointed him to the DIY when you had thoughtfully created a new section for just that purpose - VAG-COM.
