Snow is here 18" vs 20" observation

Snows here...put on the snow tires on monday -what a difference in ride quality between 18" tires vs the 20" I have been running. Mind you the cornering prowess sure has gone down...feels less like an A8 on stilts and more like an SUV again

17's for me!

I clearly notice a difference in handling between 18" and 17", so I'm sure that 20" to 18" will be felt, but you'll get used to it in a day or two.

Actually you're right, I noticed a huge difference from the 20s to the 18s...and now it feels "normal". We are such creatures of habit....

We got hit with the snow here in the Chicago area and it was my first time out on my 19's... and well, reading up on all the old threads, I got to experience first hand how the ABS and ESP work! Now I need to look into 17/ 18" winter replacements. I'm jealous of you guys

Yup, I switched my 20's for 17's a couple a weeks ago. BIG difference!
