Dynaudio in my 2010 cc sounds much better. The bass treble and mid are tuned very well, sounds awesome! Same music in the touareg, lacks bass, but has more clarity... Need to add a sub i think

I have Dynaudio in my Golf and Touareg and both systems are very good but I think the system in the Touareg T2 is better.

The system could benefit from a subwoofer but the sound staging is great, the music seems to be at ear level, a feat hard to accomplish in a very unfriendly acoustic environment.

The Dynaudio system uses a 10 channel amp, basically a dedicated amplifier for each speaker. This allows them to custom tailor each amp to each speaker and removes the need for crossovers which sap power and creates distortion.

Also, Dynaudio lists its power ratings in RMS continuous power output, not that peak Crap that most companies list. So when they say the Touareg had a 620 Watt system, they mean 620 watts RMS, meaning 1000+ watt peak.

When you pop in a REAL CD with a good bitrate, (not aux input or a burned cd with high compression) you'll be blown away by how accurately the sound is reproduced. Even at high listening levels. It sounds similar to the Bang & Olufsen system in my Wife's Audi. .

Agree, at high volume levels the and quality holds really well!
Thinking of adding something like the kicker hideaway sub under the seat http://www.amazon.com/Kicker-Hideaway-Compact-Powered-Sub/dp/B007LQWSYC

Looks pretty nice. Where would you place it? .
Hopefully it can fit under the passenger or rear seats. Small form, so will surely fit in under the spare tyre

loud volumes ....... Tinnitus anyone ???

I have/had the dynaudio system. Upgraded (aftermarket) it since. I think this is a great place to install a sub. If you have a gasser, you can also utilize the space under the spare tire. There is a lot of room.

I've notice a huge difference between the Dynaudio Confidence setting, Sound Focus. Setting to Front in lieu of Front + Rear seems much better to me and adds bass in a good way.
You're right... been playing with the system and found that setting the focus to the position in line with the drivers head and dynamic setting has served me well.

So this was in reference to the 544 firmware. I updated to v711 a few months back and it has different sound settings. Recently I was messing around with those and found that in "Dynamic" for the Dynaudio Confidence Setting and "Stereo" for the Sound Mode the bass was much improved.
