I'm headed up to help out on the excess fish problem. Am I going to see any Treg's? Wish I could have mine up there. The new lights would be great in Moose country.

From what I've heard, the place is lousy with them (fish, Touaregs AND bears). Seriously, what part of Alaska are you visiting? It's kinda a big state. I would think that you'd have more luck near the larger cities than you would in Skagway, Sitka or Ketchikan.

I was hoping to get to the Rally with a cooler of fish. We will fish the Keani and Russian for Sockeye and Homer for Halibut. I'll look around Anchorage for some Touaregs. I didn't see any two years ago. The bears will fish with us, as much fish as they eat they won't need me.

Some rally-ers just came back from a trip up there (exactly where escapes me at the moment) and they said they did see quite a few Tregs.
My best friend lives in Ketchikan during the summers. He got serious about shrimping and crabbing this year and bought a pot puller for his little fishing boat.
I can't wait to visit Alaska again! Have a great time! Maybe you can make the rally next year. Maybe we'll do the Rally in Alaska next year. \

We had a great trip to Alaska. First stop from the airport was to Safeway for provisions. Who pulls up next to us, A Reed Green V-8. I't match for mine minus the motor. Saw two others, a black and a Red. What a great place to have a Treg. Moutains, beach, dirt roads, lots of gravel. Just what this machine was built for. Go to Eagleheadlodge.com to see where to stay.
