So Everything went great! I couldnt believe some of the things I got thru with little effort! I went with my buddy kurt who has the Rang Rover. The touareg really did great on just about everything, rocks, mud, the wooded trails and it really loved the sand dunes!

Thanks everyone! It was a blast had tons of fun and so did the girlfriend! haha but she made me let her out on a couple of the hills.

The tires really did awesome and so did the treg. I am looking forward to our next trip! :joy:

what the Touareg lacked in ground clearance it made up for with the adaptive traction control. Helped me get over a lot of things with ease compared the the Range Rover.

Thanks everybody!

Yes its steel suspension and the extra ground clearance would have been nice if i had air.

The tires are 265-75-18s and they fit just perfect!

:joy:
Dillon, great pics ! Are you 100% sure they are 265/75 R18 (not R17) ? I always thought that 265/60 R18 (265/65 R17) are the largest for Tpuareg to fit (at least for diesel models)... Many thanks for double-checking and clarifying !

alex gee, these are original VW wheels called 'Manhattan' 8Jx18H2 ET57. Tires on them look slightly bigger than 265/60 R18 (see pictures below showing the small gap on Touareg (diesel) front left wheel size 265/60 R18 turned to the right).

Dillon, it would be greatly appreciated if you could double-check and clarify what is the actual size of the tires. Many thanks !
