The light bar is 42 inches wide and the roof basket is from etrailer.com its a Rola that we welded custom tabs on to mount to the factory roof rails.

If I they dont fit properly then ill go with the 275/65s So far The lift is on and I am working on the roof rack for it. helleo, i ma new in the forum and i would like to lift my 2009 touareg tdi to put bigger tyres to do off-road as well as road ! Need helps . What do i need ? Thanks

He probably doesn't visit CT very often now since moving on from his Touareg, still makes the spacers AFAIK so your best bet is to send him a PM.

Where did you get your wheel spacers from? Also, were they needed with the lift and tires, or did you add them for aesthetics?

I was also recently thinking of installing the winch permanently, but have finally decided to have the front/rear hitch mounted Warn ZEON 12 (12000lbs) and the first reason for that was the possiblity to have it installed either side for winching either way and second was it's relatively heavy weight, so putting it in the back instead of front when driving on the roads/motorways shall improve the weight destribution and driving responce a little bit.

Great looking build Dillion !! How has everything held up over the years ? I understand you went 25k on Alex's lift kit but have there been any issues after that with the cv joints or tires wear ( camber wear) etc , after that? I'm sure alot of us want to know the long term effects if there are any. Thanks!

Tires have worn really well when keeping up on rotations. No complaints form the CV Joints. I have since had another lifted T2 and currently have a T3 Lifted with Alex's lift and they have all preformed exceptionally.
