Hello everyone,
Im now on my second Touareg some of you may remember my 04 v8...
http://www.clubtouareg.com/forums/f66/off-road-trip-with-the-new-tires-pics-inside-70645.html
Now I have a 2009 TDi with steel suspension.
I ordered a lift form Alex, Im sure all of you are familiar with his work, and it arrived very quickly. The quality is great and everything fit right together as it should. Also he was quick to answer any questions I had about fitting the lift.
His Touareg is much of the inspiration for mine.
I would like to try and fit some 285/70R17 BFGoodrich KM2s or Goodyear MTR Kevlars. If I they dont fit properly then ill go with the 275/65s
So far The lift is on and I am working on the roof rack for it. I thought I would post some pictures for those of you who may be interested in Alex's lift kit..
Ill be posting pictures of my progress and if anyone has any questions Id be happy to help.

The front going together...

Unfortunately I got excited towards the end and this is the only picture I have of putting the rear together... You can see here how much this lowers the strut assembly.

Before and after..

Im impressed with the ride quality. No real noticeable difference over stock if anything the lift made it feel more solid and sitting up a little higher makes for a nice feeling as well.
Thanks for looking!
Dillon
