RNS-510 Cold Restart

Is there anyway to restart the RNS-510 after it has gone through a recent startup without resetting it to factory settings?

What I mean is, if the car has been off overnight that 510 starts almost as if it were in hibernation mode. If it's recently been startled it warm boots for much quicker startup after shutdown.

There are times when media mode gets hosed and only a cold restart fixes it but cycling the power button doesn't do that.

Any ideas?

ok...use the "Star" button in lieu

Where is the star button? On the steering wheel?

Next to the eject button I have the Sun/Moon. Is that what you were referring to?

I tried all combinations and none reset the system unfortunately.

Sometimes my NAV starts up in Germany, and "doesn't recommend" routes to NA

After a couple miles it finds out we are in NA...
