For a rear mounted tire rack I went with a Wilco. Also got the mount plates for two Scepter cans. Maxtrax mount well behind the tire and the Trash-a-roo hangs from the tire. As we rally and off-road we purchased two tow hooks for the rear. Then welded brackets from the hooks to the hitch-gate for stability. Ever see folks with bicycles mounted out back? We did not want our gear rocking back & forth like the bicycles do!

Also our rock sliders tie into the front and rear jack points. Put an additional pad between them. If you can get a hold of the December 2016 PCA Panorama there is an 11 page article on our TDI.
