hi i was searching for rock sliders and couldnt find any, but came across this shop who would be willing to make them but need a touareg for fitting purposes.
i have a 2006 v10 touareg and looking to have those rock sliders. the shop is happy to help as they say on their web site, and if i read correctly the person who leaves his treg at the shop for the developement gets the rock sliders free...
any volunteers?:)

Yes. But wouldn't be able to purchase until late next year. I don't think the undercarriage of a T1/T2 is THAT different, but who knows what they changed! LOL!!

I'd like to see them be compatible with Dragline's aluminum skid plates, or bash plates as they call them down there. :- )

For a rear mounted tire rack I went with a Wilco. Also got the mount plates for two Scepter cans. Maxtrax mount well behind the tire and the Trash-a-roo hangs from the tire. As we rally and off-road we purchased two tow hooks for the rear. Then welded brackets from the hooks to the hitch-gate for stability. Ever see folks with bicycles mounted out back? We did not want our gear rocking back & forth like the bicycles do!
