wtf isa rear locker!?! as far as I know timing belt has not been reported according to carfax report. and, it rides smooth so yeah it prob has air suspension!

Just because it rides smooth don't mean anything in regards to timing belt. It can snap anytime if its old enough.

I'm looking for a V8 Touareg with air suspension and the rear locker option.
I'd prefer one with low miles (~100k) but if it's been maintained properly I'll consider one with higher mileage.

He is asking if you have these knobs in your Touareg. One on the left shows rear locker option on the 6 o'clock position. If you don't have that you don't have the rear locker.
If you don't have the knob on the right it doesn't have air suspension either.

You would be buying T1 way under amount you would pay so timing belt would be your problem in replacing. BTW, it has rear lock but no fn air suspension, but it still rides smooth ASF!

Is the TDI yours as well? Curious how they compare in real world driving in terms of power delivery. You have a unicorn for a rear locker and air suspension with so few miles!!!

V8 is a beast
The early touaregs were over built and they feel so solid. The tdi is great but the Hpfp just imploded and the dealer wants over $10000to fix

Putting mine up for sale.

2005 Touareg V8, 125,000 miles. Clean title, rear locker, air suspension, teak leather. Located just outside of SLC Utah.

Maintenance:

February 2022: rear hatch closer
October 2021: fuel pumps, fuel filter, brake fluid, power steering fluid, Falken Wildpeak AT/W3
August 2021: brake position sensor
June 2021: driveshaft, spark plugs
February 2021: t case motor
Dec 2020: transmission fluid and filter
October 2020: parking brake strut, rear hatch and glass struts , rear diff fluid, t-case fluid, front diff fluid, cabin air filter, suspension air pump, battery

Prior owner: mostly dealer serviced.

Issues:
Driver door mirror does not power fold
Rear center seat belt gets stuck (have it disconnected)
Passenger rear has a dent
Has old clear bra that needs to be removed
