That's the order of importance to me too. I'm planning on starting full-time RVing and am going to pull my RV with a Touareg so the TDI is the most important thing to me, the air suspension is next because we want to do a lot of exploring.

'08 V10 TDI is your best bet if you are wanting air suspension and a TDI. '09-'10 TDI's are rare with air suspension since lots did not order these in with that option, was special order only. That is how I acquired my '10 TDI with air since it was being ordered for a sales manager when I inquired about it. They ended up selling his to me and ordered another one. Before you ask, I am not interested in selling mine... : )

Wasn't even an option on the order list for '10 as far as I know. Not in NA anyhow. I never been in a situation that a rear locker would have been needed imo. I have been off road in mine as well on many Jeep trails in CO. Everyone seems to seek that option or want to convert to it, but is there really a true need other than to say you have it?

Honestly this is exactly what I thought and figured who goes to an area so rocky or bad where the rear locker saved them. I always said maybe it’s just cool to say you have it.
Thanks for your input!

No problem, glad I could help. I have only ever used the center lock a hand full of times and honestly probably didn't even need then.

I have the fully loaded version like yours and where I live or how I drive, I never need or use any of the off-road capabilities. Here in DC region it rarely ever snows and I don’t have the slightest clue where to go for off-roading fun lol. Only purchased this truck to enjoy the excellent fuel economy while enjoying the size of the vehicle when others ride with me.

Oh actually I do use one major aspect everyday and that’s the air suspension with ride control. Always switching between Sport and Comfort and my goodness the differences in driving and when I need to drive like a sports car, Sport Mode really enables that.

I’ve got a 2010 TDi full Lux Limited package with 88k, Air, Center Diff, but no rear locker that I might might consider letting go. Everything has been serviced and is under the extended TDi warranty as well.

Only because now I want an Audi S series Sedan. Lol.

I have an '08 V10 96k miles in mint condition with all options (except front locker) plus deletes and tune (500 hp). It even has remote parking heater installed.

Holy crap please post pictures of this lol. Is it officially for sale somewhere? I love V10 TDIs but have yet to see anyone in the states or North America with a Blue colored one.

Doubtful it will be a blue one, I have seen no blue V10's ever in NA. Only blue I am aware of that they came in was the R50 which we did not get here.
