I removed my wiper arms and after putting them back on, the wipers don't work. Its not like the motor is disconnected because whenever I close the door the wipers go to the park position, they just don't work from the lever on the steering column. Anyone have any ideas on what could have happened.

Are the spindles turning but not driving the arms? Sounds like you haven't tightened the nuts up.

LOL. I had to take off the wipers on my v10 to investigate a brake vacuum issue.

First, I put the wipers back and forgot to put the plastic cover, then I took them off, put the plastic cover, reinstalled the wipers and went around to turn on the wipers, they would not work.

So, I checked all fuses, relays, and ran VCDS; everything was fine.

Removed the wipers and cover again to test the wiper motor, takes a charge just fine.

Put back the plastic cover and wipers.

By this time, I have seen your comment.

CLOSED THE HOOD. Wipers worked perfectly.

Wasted almost a week on this.
