Interestingly, the auction mentions that the title says that Phaeton was lemoned!

So he was auctioning off a salvage title? Is that what I'm getting here? To me, lemoned means only one thing.......don't buy it.

 

A hot-selling model will still retain its value regardless of when it is being sold off. Hence, holding an auction such as this is a really smart way to raise money especially for a priceless vintage piece.

 

A high end car can get "Lemoned" due to a picky customer. Might have been a single issue later resolved.

 

Engine bay has not been detailed and looks very average. Wonder why they did not detail the engine.
