I am just wondering, why do some touaregs have the keyless entry where you press the button on the door handle to unlock the doors and some even have push button start....but others don't. Was this a special order option? I know about putting the push button start aftermarket but what about the smart key entry? I see it on 1 out of every 10-15 touaregs.(just waiting for the right one to come along)

Definitely. Now that I have had my kessy module replaced, I am going to install the keyless start. Never understood why they would offer the keyless entry, but not the keyless start in the 2004's. Makes no sense to have keyless entry when you still have to take out keys to start car.

I use to be able to start mine without pressing the brake pedal, but when I had the kessy replaced I now need to press brake pedal. If I try to start it without brake pedal pushed I get a Warning on my mfd to press brake pedal. Even shows a picture of a foot pressing pedal.
