this is the only 'forum' i've been able to post a new thread to... please help! the "post new thread" button doesn't appear anywhere after i've searched for my topic and found nothing. help!

I'm not sure. Are you logged into the forum at the time?

You are shown as a registered user and you have posted in the past. The only thing I can think of is that you weren't logged in or you weren't in a specific forum directory.

You can't start a new thread from an existing thread. You can't start a new thread when looking at the top level directory that shows all the sub-forums. You can only see the NEW THREAD button when you are in a specific forum such as NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS.

And you did start THIS new thread (as well as this one). So I guess I am at a loss why you can't start a new thread in another forum, unless you weren't actually in another forum.
