Could be an engine pulley, alternator, water pump. Are you sure it's not your radio :)

Sorry, I gotta jump on this train after reading your comment and seeing this ad lololol View attachment 248611
Oh Jeez, it's a screenshot of an advertisement ON THIS FORUM and it thinks its porn. Haha.

I meant to chime in and ask, is the whining sound high pitched like a belt? Metallic like a brake? Or something else? Maybe that can help us?

It happens even when I'm alone with the radio off. Ha-Ha. I have a set of Mechanics Ears ( bunch of sensors that feedback to a headphone) I'll try putting that on the car on the front diff, next to the brakes, and on the front of the engine and see if I can isolate where the noise is coming from. I'll post the results if my wife will let me continue on a website which allows sexist remarks - seriously guys think about your comments and decide if you might be a little sexist) I know that the beginning of my previous sentence was sexist and demeaning to women and I put it there just to make a point.

Sounds more like road noise. If it didn't come and go with accelerator changes ( and I mean very small on and off) I probably would think it was just noisy tires. Not high pitched squeally.
