Monster Mat that is....
I bought a nice new set shortly after I got my V10 in Dec 2006. They looked really solid/heavy. Though they would last for years and years. Well, by early this year (about 1 year of use - about 15K Miles) - the drivers mat has a huge hole worn right through (not a tear). That's pretty lame if you ask me.
So I just bought a set at Mats4less - they look almost IDENTICAL to the Monsters - but different rubber compound, and you don't get the nice grey "Touareg" lettering on thge front mats - however - they are only $39.99 Vs about $100 for the Monsters (also - in my case they sent the round hole versions - so I had to cut the holes open and swap over the oval hole plastic mounts from my Monsters)
Don't waste your money on the monsters is my advice - the mats4less can't possibly have worse durability than the Monsters
Anyone in Vancouver area that wants to drop by and pick up a set of brand new Rear mats and a passenger mat - no charge - PM me (I only needed the new drivers mat)
