Recently bought this car. It cranks ,has fuel, but will not turn over and run. I've been through a lot of things trying to determine wtf is wrong. In the process I noticed this part that's missing. For the life of me I can't find out what it is. Can anyone tell me what's missing. 4.2 2005 touareg. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much for your response. I will go see if I can find it laying around in there. Can't believe it just fell off. Someone didn't replace it and it looks like a bear to get too.
