Joe... I don't want to hate you... But I have to

That's very nice. Is that a kit or real cobra?

Come on... Sell me the mustang

Cobra is a factory five car....
and the Mrs. would kick my ass is I sold her car. I searched the country for 3 months looking for a 65-66 convert without her knowing, flew out looking at cars, and found this one 20 miles from home. She came home from the gym the morning of her birthday and it was in the driveway with balloons and a bow. keeping the secrete was hard, but having by 2 daughters not tell was harder.

I saw you were looking...there's a 65 coupe across the street from my kids school for sale. It needs a lot of love, but I think it's priced right...She'll need qtrs and door skins, but if you're handy it may be a decent project. Let me know if you want the guys number

As always, I am trailing behind in any caucus activities…
My wife’s 2012 VW Beetle Turbo (privileged), Touareg 2012 TDI LUX, Crestliner-1750/Yamaha F115 (privileged), BMW X5 35i (temporary) and son’s Chevy Impala 2007 (mostly driveway inhabitant). Touareg has a garage stall only from Thanksgiving till end of March when the boat returns from winter storage.

Thoughts on Jeep vs Treg?

These are our vehicles. The Touareg and the Subaru are 2009. The bikes are by Specialized.

in the garage:
05 T-Reg V8 w/teak and the kitchen sink
1998 Pelican Blue Audi Cabriolet (my first love)

in the driveway:
2000 Dodge Durango 5.9L V8 "the beast" - works hard but still looks nice with gray metallic and black leather.

big audi/vw fans here, dad was a dealer in the 80's and 90's and we never lost the love. numerous originals with his dealer sticker are still daily drivers in the family, as well as newer ones continuing the legacy. brother does autocross with his red '90 coupe quattro. Aunt has a 1984 VW quantum wagon, black with spoked wheels and looks MEAN!

interesting to see that lots of T-reg owners also have at least one additional VW or Audi - you can never have just one!!

Now, now. Why bash the Corvair? :)

Believe it or not, the Corvair Monza Spyder is a GREAT little car! Try 150 turbocharged HP in anything that small and light and it produces a great driving experience.

My little Spyder is bumped out to ~200HP. That will definitely put a grin on the driver's face! Watch out for the snappy little swing axle though...

As for the Lusso, I rather give up my nut sack than the Lusso! :)

Ah.... my first car a 1960 Corvair, unsafe at any speed as Ralph used to call them. Went through a fan belt a week easy. Absolute piece of crap only to be outdne by my second car a 1961 Buick "Special" with the aluminum head (where I learned about heli-coils). From there to a 65 Mustang 3 speed another great piece of rubbish and then I finally had enough $ to buy my 68 Roadrunner and life was sweeeeeeeeet. :)

Followed when we moved to Europe by a 356SC, a 71 911T 2.2, a 78 BMW728, a VW Westphalia. Back in the US a 91 T-Bird SC, a Durango, a Nissan Sentra (wife), a 300M (wife) and 2 Tregs.

All overseas vehicles were substantially modified and un modified at every Swiss inspection.... The Westphalia had an engine mod dumping the 1600cc VW for a Porsche 2.2 liter, new brakes and suspension...
