I finally got a chance to hop into my treg to run some errands. I was away from home for almost 9 days.
When I turn the ignition on, I saw something very weird. Somewhere in the instrument cluster, there is an icon showing the differential as being locked on the front, mid and rear. There are three full circles. Also, the differential switch by the cup holders started to flash. Does anybody know what this means? Will I be in trouble?

After sitting for 9 days, I wonder what your battery voltage was, as weird glitches can sometimes be linked to low voltage in these vehicles.

Matt
The battery seem to be fine. I didn't see any warnings on that.

Well, I only drive my Treg back and forth to the gym which is 1.2 miles away from my house. When i start it up, I got the warning. It also displays some sort of system failure with big letters. I forgot what exactly it was. On the way back, however, I don't see any warnings. This happened yesterday morning and this morning. By the way, the diff setting is at high right now.

Last time I took the car to the VW dealer in Littleton, CO. (McDonald's automotive), they said there is an instrument cluster recall on my TReg. Can this be the reason? I am also seeing another alert saying the battery for my remote key is low. I know it's a seperate issue but can you change the battery by yourself?

By the way, McDonald's Volkwagen service department SUCKS! I am filing a complaint with the BBB. Thanks for the help...
