recently replaced my leaking power steering cooler so i had much of the front end removed on my 2009 Touareg TDI. i decided to remove the bottom hose on the left and right intercoolers to check for oil. there was not a drop of oil in the left side intercooler but when i removed the right side hose clear water flowed out followed by a mix of oil and water. I drained approximately 1.5 litres of this oil water. the vehicle has been sitting indoors for approximately 2 months. my Touareg has 280k km. i had a replacement turbo installed at 210k km. vehicle has been running fine with no issues.
any thoughts on where this water would come from?
