1. You can't find this archive anywhere in the internet, cause it's made by myself. It's a simple Audi MMI3GP conversion.
2. Databases are 100% identical with VW standard. There is no ingeration in originality of the databases.
3. This package is NOT CHECKED. I live in Europe, so it was difficult for me to upload it to my RNS system and use it.
4. Don't use Green Menu, just use Standard method, hope will work fine.
5. If You prefer, I added also User Defined mode.
6. Don't ask how to upload it into Your RNS. There's answer for that in the internet.
7. If Your map won't work after 3-4 minutes after the update don't panic. It means You need to activate it. I have no expierience with activating region 2 maps. Probably there is an activator in the internet. I'll help if it won't work.
8. Please RESHARE. If You've downloaded it and it's working, upload it to any possible server to share with other people. Even You can post alternative links in here. Don't let other people to earn money on this.
9. Have no knowledge if TMC works, but it should.
10. If someone is successful with updating, please don't be shy and let us know. If it fails, also please send a post.
11. I have no experience for which firmwares does it work. It looks like AN (australian) firmwares are identical with ECE (european) ones.
12. If You don't know what to do please ask for help. No shame in it, but don't be lazy.
13. Ths map is from 2021. The newest means there's no other higher available version. Probably there won't be any.
14. MapStyles database is up to date, there's no need to apply any fix.

**** Like all processes of this nature, I do not take any responsibility for the success or otherwise of this update. HOWEVER, these are the files and the method that have worked for me and others.
The map installation worked better for me using a USB Memory Stick.
You will need an 8Gb SD Card (or if you have the Multimedia to USB connector – an 8Gb USB memory stick)

• MicroSD cards have not been 100% successful for this process, so recommend you use a USB Memory stick or you could try a SDCard or maybe even copy the files to DVD-r. Personal success was with a USB Memory stick. MUST BE FORMATTED TO FAT32
• The required files will be found in a folder labelled “RNS850 8R006...” that you will have downloaded. Those files must sit in the Root Directory of your chosen media. Do not have them inside a folder, and the folder in the Root Directory.
• You may wish to put a battery charger on your car’s battery. Process will take up to 20 minutes. I played safe and set the charger up first.
• If you are using an SDCard – place it into your glovebox media module (pull the Yellow lever to allow the unit to s-l-o-w-l-y drop down, showing the CD/DVD slot, SD Card slots (#1 and #2) and a SIM card slot. If you are using a USB, you need to have a Media to USB cable (VW part) and have that plugged into the Media slot in the centre armrest storage area (on the panel closest to the shift lever).
• Turn the RNS850 on, and wait for 2 minutes, or until all of the units modules are operating (Radio/Phone/Media/Maps/Climate etc). Refer here to VW method to manage a Firmware update (same as Map Update) VW Tech Instructions - Firmware Update Method
• Once the unit is running you need to enter “Engineering Mode” on the RNS. To do this, Push and hold the SETUP and PHONE buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds (SETUP momentarily first).
• then you need to choose Update, then SD Card/USB etc as a source (wherever you have loaded the map upgrade file) then there's confirming version window and after that
• You choose the upload method. There are two available - standard (red circled) or user defined (as per link above)
• The standard one should work, the RNS system checks which of the database file/s are newer and uploads only the fresh ones. It does it by comparing their versions.
• Continue to follow the VW .pdf Instructions. Exit engineering mode? phone + nav + central buttons
• The unblocker/activation files should be loaded onto the SDcard in the same way that the map files were loaded (as in placement of required files to the Root Directory).
• Download the file from here Map Unblocker/Activation
• When the RNS850 is running all of it’s modules, load the SD Card into slot 1, and wait for the self activating file to run. An Audi logo and instructions will appear, press any button of the unit to force the activation. It will take less than a second (you will not see anything, apart from maybe a confirmation script on the screen).
  Remove the SD Card and you are good to go
