My 2007 uses the round hole floor mats. I tried to order some at the VW dealer last week and they have been discontinued. Might be able to find some leftover stock somewhere... but I didn't look.

Instead I ordered the oval hole floor mats. P/N 7L1.061.550.H.041 Once I got them I used two screwdrivers to pop the plastic retaining clips off of the mats. Under those is a round molded hole, but VW cut it out in an oval shape. I used a razor knife to carve a bit of rubber out to make it round.

I ordered some round hole retainers: 3C0.061.795.9B9 and snapped those in. Works great.

Just thought I'd pass this info along incase someone else is looking for the round hole rubber floormats.

My 2004 had round, my 2006 has oval, your 2007 has round.

I imagine they are probably like my work. They decide on a feature change and they do it.... until they find a crate of the old parts again and then they switch back until they are used up.

It does make it very hard to find parts that way though.
