Valvebody Help. Porsche VB in Touareg

Alright before I found this forum, my T1 got stuck in some really soft sand and I tried WOT to get it unstuck. I didn't even realize the traction control was on since I've only ever had old 80s and 90s Broncos for off-roading. I messed up the TCC solenoid because every time I touched dirt (literally my driveway) the truck would go into limp mode.
I eventually bought a valvebody from Ebay for a TR60SN, but didn't think that if it came off a Porsche there would be a big difference since the transmission was the same. Looked the same and had the temp pressure valves. Well I was mistaken, the truck runs great and switches gears fine, but i do have a code for a P0720 saying it needs an output speed sensor. Im assuming that the solenoids have a different coding for the speed and its throwing off the TCM. Before doing the logical, does anybody have any input? I'm wondering if its just the sensor or using the old vb with the porsche solenoids. Any input would be great. As stated i know the obvious answer but I want to work with what I got so far before dropping everything and going with a RevMax vb.

Cheers!

i would not think the speed output would be on the VB it has no way of measuring the speed of the vehicle. it just controls pressures to clutch packs and bands. thou you may have forgotten to connect a wire within the transmission itself or knocked one off by accident. also, i think the VB solenoids are simple solenoids that have no coding in them. this is the bugger you are looking for it is the output speed sensor.it seems to bolt-on elsewhere on the tranny

Im hoping there is no coding for them. Thank you for the input seems like it could possibly be a quick fix. Im hoping if anything a pinched wire because I triple checked every connection.

Cheers fellas

Without looking at the service manual off hand as its late at night, you may have done as what motokosusu has said, knocked a wire loose, or forgot to plug something in. Worse case, pinched a wire inside the transmission. After all, their is no coding of noids on the valve body. They either plug in and work great or they do not.

this is what the manual has to say about it and my best guess is the wire is unplugged, worst case you drop the VB again and put a new one in but it was working before the VB change so yeah unplugged

when i rebuilt my 09D valve body thought i had everything connected and found out after it was all buttoned up and test driving it i did not push one of the wires far enough and it slipped off after i was 5 miles from my shop because the tranny started acting up. so it happens. but there is a silver lining to it all once the pan is down. you already know how to drop the VB.if the output sensor actually has to be replaced and it not a disconnected wire. also a pinched wire is not like a pinched hose, if it became pinched then you going need to fix a wire

Flooring it in sand and traction control shouldn't have anything to do with a valve body going out..
