Do you guys/gals think this data means anything when trying to figure out if our valve bodies are going bad? I have a intermittant hard shift between 1st and 2nd once the fluid is at operating temp. Im using the graphing feature on VCDS to plot the 6 solenoid currents, N92, N282, N90, N283, and N93. (I'll attach my plots in the next post from my phone) The first attachment shows the expected amperage at each shift. The second attachment shows what my Treg does when accelerating through all the gears. The red line is the N92 solenoid and according to the chart should measure .980A in 5th and 6th gear, yet mine measures more like .85A. While I seem to have no issues in these gears, I wonder if this is normal compared to others. The third attachment I focus on my 1 to 2 shift. I show the hiccup or whatever you want to call it when I get a jerky shift compared to a smooth one (solenoid N283). Does it mean bad valve body? Or should we be looking at something else?
