We have been staying at a hotel with Valet parking the last few days and a funny thing happened this morning when we asked for our car to be brought up. It was taking way longer than usual when the duty manager sheepishly came over and said "Sir we cannot start your car" I emmediatly thought something was wrong (by the way whenever I use a valet I always think of the scene from Ferris Buellers day off when they park the car give the valet a fiver to take special care of the Ferrari then as they walk off the valet screams out of the driveway in the Ferrari on a joy ride) anyways I have to follow the duty manager down into the car park offer him a seat to take him back up as I slip the key in and start the car without any problems whatsoever!!! The duty manager and another assistant both could not work out what to do - I think they worked out where to put the key but could not take it to the next level and work out how to turn the key to start the engine.
