Hey all,

04 Treg owner here. I live in SF and this darn TPMS is driving me up the wall. In the past month I've had sensors up the wazzu (brake light, head light, brake pads, etc). Does anyone know of garages in the area (within 15 miles) willing to disable the tpms? I've called a few places but they either are unwilling (dealership) or don't completely understand what the heck I'm talking about. Thanks in advance!

I discovered them when I drove by a few months ago, I could not believe the number of VW's and Audi's parked there. I haven't taken a vehicle there yet, but the reviews seem promising: Advanced Autowerks - Potrero Hill - San Francisco, CA

I've been thinking about popping in and talking to them, and if I like what I see, have them do something simple like wire up a rear fog on my truck.

Anywho, they look like they might be worth checking out. Let me know if you end up going there and what your experience with them is.

That's funny that you mentioned them. I had my drive shaft replaced by them. Good job. Figured I would call them up about the TPMS. He said the same thing others have said, that the highway law won't allow them to disable the TPMS
