Hello,
This is my first post and I have been dealing with an issue of a broken camshaft tensioner. I finally had it replaced after waiting 3 weeks weeks and the hard engine shake went away but now there is just a slight vibration that wasn't there before. The CEL is flashing instead of staying on as it was before the replacement of the tensioner. I check the spark plugs last night and cylinders 5 and 6 had plugs that smelled like gas and covered in deposits. I replaced those plugs but the rough idle reduced slightly. At this point I am not sure what to do because I went from no issues to now a bad tensioner and two bad plugs. I figured I may be able to get a better idea about what else is happening if I ran a scan. I am also open to any suggestions.
