After 3 weeks with a new V8, I'm starting to get a better idea of the performance of the car. One thing I notice is the engine is relatively flat from about 2,000-2,700rpm. Once it hits 3,000rpm the engine seems to wake up with a completely different tone, altogether much more urgent and lively.
I am not sure whether this is the characteristics of this engine or a specific problem with mine. Just want to hear from other people about their experience with the engine. Thanks in advance.
