I would lube up the o-rings and gently push the rail on, making sure it goes on straight. It might need a gentle tap to get it to seat all the way. Tighten the bolts once it is fully seated.

 

Definitely lube the o-rings before trying to push in. The first time I attempted it, I tore a couple of them and had to start over...

 

Thanks for the reply, so your saying the rail will require the use of a hammer in order to get the rail fully seated?

I have lubed both the seal and opening of the rail

Rail is centered and on with a bare minimum of bolt tightness just to hold the rail to the seal

I was going to alternate between tapping and tightening

 

Not saying you have to use a hammer, but it does take a bit of force to get all the o-rings in at the same time. Your method of achieving the end result is up to you

 

All done, no hammers , torqued and yielded
