Modest oil leak. Needs engine drop to fix. Likely Turbo or tandem pump issue.
No known electrical issues. Had turbos replaced in low 70k mile range.
Moderate Exhaust smell when idling and heater/fan is on (unless AC is running). I don't smell anything with the AC on. Nobody has ever been able to pinpoint the issue, despite spending several thousand $ on "repairs". I suggest addressing this during engine drop.
A coolant error just came on in 100°C+ heat (could be nothing, or thermostat, which might be a couple hundred $). Just had oil change service, but they couldn't pinpoint an issue. UPDATE: Check Engine light is now off. Fault cleared on its own!

Replaced brake pads and rotors recently. Yokahama tires have good tread left. Also available/included: 2 used spare tires, new (unused) chains, Thule ski/snowboard rack (lightly used), replacement wipers, a few quarts of engine oil.

Local pickup in Salt Lake City area (it's a cheap flight). Could also drop it off in-between SLC and the Bay Area in mid July.

A couple of minor things I should mention:
1. Faulty/finicky volume knob on stereo/navigation system. I typically use the controls on the steering wheel (or fight the knob and risk a volume spike).
2. It is missing one of the plastic flaps covering the lock on a roof rack, (right side front rack).
3. Hood and tailgate lift support shocks could be replaced (no longer raise hood or trunk without help).
4. Black cosmetic trim below chrome step bar (normally hidden behind door), came off.
5. Emergency brake handle is broken. It can still be released with a flathead screwdriver though.

Hey 04V10,
I didn't know they still made a 2008 V10! Thought they were discontinued in 2007.
My Treg would be a great source for spare parts if you need something for yours...
I didn't either until I bought one a few years ago.

I still have a 2004 V10 with a lot more miles than my 2008 that I could use for parts if I needed. But the funny thing is, the 2004 works better than the 2008. I've had a lot less problems with it, electronically that is, than my 2008. Go figure... If my 2004 had Adaptive Cruise and Satellite Radio, I would have never bought the 2008.

Anyway, I don't think I'm interested in a third V10. Blownvette has that crown, and I don't want to try and compete for it :)

My Moms also has a Black late 2006 (or 2007?) V10 which I helped her get. That one has had electrical problems (but no oil leak or turbo issues). I was trying to convice her to sell w/ mine as a pair (black and white), but no luck. She loves that thing, despite the maintenance costs.
