I have been working through a hole load of probs including smoking under load after idling or standing over night which now look like injector seals had failed, but I have only done 1 bank so far, but looking good after some driving.

On one of the test after aggressive accelerating and cruising looking for smoke I cruised into my village when the Stop engine low oil pressure came on. I stopped for 5 then continued home and just a pulled in up it came again. I started it up again after 5 mins and held it at 2200rpm which is where the problem arose, but no more warnings.
I have plugged in to vagcom, but I have no engine error codes (not sure if low oil pressure would flag up).
The engine idles perfectly and no noises.

should vagcom log low oil pressure?
Any thought would be appreciated.

don't take any chances.

Have the oil pressure checked mechanically.

Ok,
I have checked the oil pressure and it is very low.
Do these V10's suffer from the scavenge strainer get clogged up like the other VW's.
Shes only done 75k miles with full history!
