Somebody has messed with the wiring harness in the past, so I need a good condition used one or a new for a RH drive car.

I doubt you will find that on here.

Breaker's yard, internet or VW dealer.

You are probably right but I haven't had much success with breakers; they only have for LH drive cars so I'm also trying VW dealers.

I could well be wrong, but wouldn't the wiring harness for the engine itself be the same for both LHD and RHD?

Have you checked the part number for what you are looking for?

I changed my entire wiring harness just this past November. I have the old one, but it is out of a LH drive car.
