Yeah. The dealers I've dealt with in my region are worse than useless--they're incompetent to the point of being destructive so I'm never going back.

I am currently using Genuine VW parts bought from my dealers part counter.

Hey mate, just did the brakes on my treg tonight. Was not a fan of the lack of bite in the genuine pads. Went to Bendix heavy duty pads in the rear, and DBA xp pads on the front. Bite is far, far better, extremely happy with how it's ended up. If your rotors are relatively new, I would suggest trying a more "aggressive" pad and seeing how that works for you.
