Unknown Error Elaboration V10 TDI 2008

Cars been running fine then went into limp mode, I scanned it with vcds and a boost sensor code and an unknown error code came up. The unknown error code contains boost pressure reading in the freeze frame data so i assumed the 2 codes were linked so I replaced the boost sensor and the sensor code went away but the unknown error did not. the reason the boost sensor broke in the first place was because of water in the plug puddled up somehow and caused a short of some sort (black marks were visible and green corrosion were visible on the plug but it has sense been cleaned)
Im assuming it is some sort of fuse that popped because of the short circuit but here is the entire scan log after I replaced the boost sensor. ( the EGR is deleted on this car and has been like this for a year before this code appeared and ran fine, it is not causing the limp mode.)

just looked at wiring schematics there are no fuses in between the sensor and the ECM. Could this have caused an issue inside the ECM? (btw I forgot to mention in the original post
the car will go out of limp mode if you clear the code before you start it or while you are driving it so at some point it works but once the car turns back off it goes into limp mode again)

I'd try updating your seriously outdated VCDS software first as there might've been additional codes\labels\info that have been release in the last few years since your last update.

Will do but just wondering, would they add codes for a car that old?

I have no idea... but if people keep supplying them with controller maps and such, I would think so....
I'm just wondering.... why wouldn't you update? It's free and only improves things!

Haven’t used it recently so I haven’t downloaded the new version but it’s downloading and Will add a new scan to this post
