Just got my Hex-V2 in the mail. Figured I would start small, because who wants to screw up big?
I went in and enabled the gear display. Reset the transmission, started the car, shifted into D and it displayed "D1". Yay!
Then I decided to disable the seat-belt chime. I have the Auto Hold Brake enabled, so I almost always put my seat-belt on anyway, except when I get my mail (driveway is 1/4 mile). Got it done.
That ended my playtime. Got in the car and went to the post office.
Weird- the "Since refuel" measurements (Distance, time, average speed and average fuel economy) got reset to Zero. So the "Since start" measurements were identical. The "Long-term" measurements were all fine.
Is this a fairly common side effect of playing with VCDS settings?
