Treg back seat - fit for adults?

I'm 6'4" so I have to drive with the seat all the way back.

The Treg is a great car for the wife and me when we get out, but I don't see how people with grown kids can fit them in the back seat. My 2 year old is constantly kicking the back of driver seat, and the infant car carrier barely fits behind the passenger seat.

Seems about the same size as a Jetta's!

I've got an 06 v6 and the back seats seem much better than those in my previous Nissan Pathfinder.

I'm 6 feet and my 2 y/o rides in her carseat behind me with room to spare, but of course i dont have my seat all the way back.

My mother in law rides in the back and she has more than enough room. Guess it all depends on how far the seat is back and the size of the adults in the back seat...

The infant seat on the other hand takes up much more space so i bet that would be pretty tight either way...

It is probably because of your size. I'm only 5'3" and people sit in my backseat all the time and love it. I've gone places with my fiancee and 2 others (ie: parents) many times, even on 2+ hour drives and its a charm. The people in the back love the arm rest, and the DVD 10.2" flip down screen I added. Maybe you need to look at surgery to shorten your legs .. LOL jk ...

My 2 year old's seat is in the middle of the rear. He's always kicking the little compartment doors in the rear of the console. I hope that they are easily replaced (cheap$$??) because I know it's just a matter of time before they are destroyed.

Just did 15 days of non-stop driving in a Touareg and had no problems with the back seat. Then again, we were all 6' or less, so that extra 4" of legroom probably kills it for you. The Q7 has adjustable back seats, so maybe that would be a better fit? I don't think I've seen ANY SUV, including a Surburban that with a 6'4" driver gives Great room for the back seat. I can say that 6' in the back seat is no problem for headroom and shoulder room though.
