Well, it’s on the way. Had a call from the dealer who says that the Treg is enjoying a leisurely ocean cruise on the way to Oz. 8)
We ordered the car in Oct 03 specifying that both plates – build and compliance were to be year 04 (Not certain about other countries but Oz runs calendar year Model designations – no point buying a late 03 car to have it effectively a year old 1 month later :roll: )
Apparently it takes approx. 1.5 days from parts to complete. So on the boat it is. Expected to land in early Feb. Soooooo by Feb end should be the owner of Salt Lake Grey (Offroad Gray) with all the fruit except Air suspension. :twisted:
Looking forward to it. Hope VWoA have taken heed of problems and the Head Office has taken action – touch wood – so I hope that the difficulties and frustrations that befell others are now engineered out :?
