I need a help! Drove my car yesterday and after came back home notice oil leak under the car. So I checked under the car and tranny oil was splashed under the front passenger side of the car. Then I check under the hood same story passenger side had some oil marks. After I inspect it all under the hood i notice that it actually sprayed out from the small hose that has plug on top and located beside passenger side air filter box.Any ideas what it could be????

That small hose almost sounds like the front differential breather. But I can't imagine why it would spew fluid out the top.

What did the leakage look like; typical ATF-type fluid?

I am not sure maybe it is a differential fluid its smell very bad very lite color and sticky. The hose i was taking about located in between airbox and right side of the engine.I will try to post a picture of it. Ok,if it is a differential oil is there a reason for spraying oil ?

The breather is normally there to vent excessive fluid. Has the tranny been refilled recently? As I've only ever see that happen, if there's too much fluid in the transmission. It would have to be well over a litre though.

I would get the level checked regardless.

Excuse my ignorance guys, but is this a vent that releases pressure or a breather, if it was a breather it not should allow a two way exchange,air/fluid out air in and therefore be filtered?

Well you did ask what you should do . . .

I'm glad you've booked it in, but I definitely wouldn't drive the car at all in the meantime since you've no way of knowing whether there is any fluid left.

It's a breather, yes. And the fact it only leaks (vents) at higher speeds points to the fact you tranny's pressurising. Either because the fluid level's way too high, or the wrong grade (causing the fluid to froth).

I'm a bit puzzled here - are you located in Canada, and looking to pay a dealership in Euros? Did you ship your truck to Europe?

Yes i moved to Bremen, Germany and shipped it here.
i have no idea about tranny oil if it was changed or not and if they used right oil.so should i just leave it until it get all extra oil out,or change it

200 euros versus 5,000 euros for a new transmission?

Mmm.

Let me think about that . . .

If your tranny oil level's fine, considering the amount of something that you lose when driven hard, then I'm beginning to wonder if your leak's from somewhere else.

Is your power steering fluid okay, as in the level?

Transmission filter could be plugging up, not flowing enough fluid at high speed and then pressurizing?
