It looks like my recent drama won't end anytime soon. My brake assist workshop lit up recently. I took the car to the dealer.

The service guy is now telling me that after replacing the transfer case control module, they had to reprogram the software. He said he cannot communicate with the ESP sensor. There is power but no communication. He said he has to replace the ESP sensor which he quoted at about $850 with parts and labor.

Does this sound alright? Between timing belt, tensioner, water pump, transfer control module, and now this ESP sensor, I am in for almost $4000. :mad:

Sorry but it sounds like the tech replaced what the flow chart said and that didn't fix it so he now says that the new item cannot talk to another to throw off that he put a new part in that didn't need replacing
