Well I am in the same boat. You can turn off the system buy you will still have the big yellow warning symbol. I have tried to pull fuses and Vag-Com but you cannot beat it. Asked the dealer and on the other forum with no solution offered. Sensors are available from Tire Rack for about $75 each, I believe.

How do you turn off the TPMS?
Also I couldn't find the sensors on the TireRack website?
