Hi,
Is it possible to disable the TPMS?
We have two sets of wheels and tires.
One for the winter season... 18" wheels no/TPMS
The other for the rest of the year... 19" wheels w/TPMS
The tire place we took the wheels in to be switched said the TPMS valve stems from the 19" wheels could NOT be used on the 18" wheels.
So we have two options.
1 - Buy the TPMS stems for the 18" wheels, probably pretty expensive?
or
2 - Disable the TPMS system, if possible?
Does anybody know what the cost of the TPMS stems are?
This would obviously be my first choice!

Well I am in the same boat. You can turn off the system buy you will still have the big yellow warning symbol. I have tried to pull fuses and Vag-Com but you cannot beat it. Asked the dealer and on the other forum with no solution offered. Sensors are available from Tire Rack for about $75 each, I believe.
