Hi. I turned off my TPMS light a few months ago when changing with winter tires using VCDS same way mentioned: 17. Instruments > long coding > Byte 4 Bit 0 where the TPMS is enable/disable.
Two days ago I turned it back on, the TPMS light came on, but the TPMS system doesn't recognize the same old sensors even with long driving.
In Car/Setup/Tire Pressure Monitor System a message shows up "Function currently not available".
Meanwhile I changed the summer tires with new, but never touched the rims or sensors.
Did you have such a problem activating it back on?
