I am looking for a new SUV. The two which I like are Porsche Cayenne S and Touareg V8. I wanted to know what's the 6 month insurance premium for these SUVs for a driver with a clean driving record in midwest.

Why don't you call your insurance agent and ask them for a quote? Everyone's rate will vary greatly depending on coverage, location, record, company, etc.

Spock's right... you're going to have to call the insurance guy to find out the exact cost.

I can tell you that I pay $651 every six months for two vehicles (the TOUAREG and my wife's car) from AIG.

Your rates will vary. My quote for a Cayenne S was 70% higher than the Touareg V8. Repair cost and theft made up much of the difference.

My insurance went down moving from an Audi S4 to the Touareg V8 (thank goodness). My guess is the massive HP in the Porsche Cayenne S will be one of the major factor in the cost of your insurance.

Cayenne S only has 30 more HP than the Touareg V8. Perhaps you are thinking about the Cayenne Turbo which has about 140 HP more.

our premium went down 180 per 6 mos..previous car was a GS400. Porsche will likely be higher as labor rates, parts etc. are more.
