Hi,
I am facing a problem in my 07 touareg v6 tdi
I am unable to switch off ESP even if i push the button in the centre console it doesnt respond,any idea what is wrong?how to switch it off?
Any help would be of great use to me.

Press and hold for 10 seconds. This should deactivate the ESP.

Fun driving in snow is why I turn it off. Usually it goes quickly back on though.

Fair enough - and sensible regardless of the fun factor as sometimes you do need to over-ride ESP in mud and snow otherwise the engine can bog down just when you don't want it to.

Had the same problem with mine, dealer replaced the switch as they though something might have been spilt but still didnt work.
Turned out to be a wire "chewed" though somewhere on the firewall that runs to the switch, once this was replaced all is now working. No 10 seconds, just press and ESP is on/off ?
Have no idea where to locate the wire, sorry.
