Hi Folks,
just keen to get some feedback from other Treg CR owners on the transmission shift. So the CR has the ZF 8 speed which is a fabulous box. The car has now done 33k
I am finding that the shift (upwards of 2-4th gear) produces jerky / jolty type of symptoms under low acceleration. There is also a sensation of "in-between" gear shifting. So basically the gear changes say from 1-2 and then there is this pre-take or in-between shift sensation that is felt through the box before the next gear change...so 3rd. From 3rd to 4th is also there as well.
The setting is in the normal setting which what I use around town and most of the times. In sports mode, the shift is a lot quicker and the symptoms i am describing is less evident.
The gear shifting is certainly not as smooth as a landrover for example (as i had a LandRover Velar which had the same ZF 8 speed) and its rather unpleasant and feels unrefined.
So my take is a its a laggy software calibration rather than mechanical but i could be wrong.
just keen to hear experiences from other owners.
