My 2004 Touareg V8 with 4 zone climate control is blowing hot air and i really don't know what to do. I have read many threads and see people go through a lot and how it is so complicated. I did get a VAG-COM today and these are the codes that came up. Please help as its super hot and summer has not even started yet.

08: Auto HVAC

00819 - High Pressure Sensor (G65)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

00709 - Sunlight Photosensor 2 (G134)
009 - Open or Short to Ground -Intermittent

00229 - Refrigerant Pressure
001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

00352 - Terminal 30A
002 - Lower Limit Exceeded

00057 - Right B-pillar/Footwell Shut -Off Flap Motor (V211)
005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation

What does intermittent mean in this situation? How do I do the basic setting/adaptation?

Since you don't give any details of what you have done so far to fix the issue I'm gonna go ahead and tell what I did to fix mine. When I was testing/buying my 2004 v6 3.2 I turned AC on and only hot air came blowing out. I asked and the seller said I don't use AC !!! I told him either he fixes it or I'm not buying. We went to a mecanic. The guy recharged the AC (referigerant) and changed the cabin filter. Problem solved. You probably tried this already. If not well give it a shot.

No I have not done this yet. But when I first started in fixing, I have a mechanic replace the compressor. Then I took the car to the dealership and they said the compress (new that was just put in) was bad and they wanted $1800 to fix my AC(not going to pay that). I brought it back to the mechanic and he said they just wanted money. SO i went ahead and replaced the new compressor with another new one and still didn't work. I'm going to try the cabin filter and see what happens.

The cabin filter is just a filter. Changing it won't fix the aircon failure itself - that bit is just good house keeping!

Take the car to a good air conditioning specialist.

Yes. The filter was a just a detail. The important part war recharging the AC. If you have a hardware issue you need to investigate further or consult a specialist.
Thanks. I will do that.

Thank you for your replay. I will do that.

Try the temperature sensors.
I was reading on this forum how people fixed their AC by cleaning or replacing the sensors.
by temperature sensors, did you mean coolant temperature sensors?

And check your fuses and AC wiring. You have electrical communication issues. So either components, sensors do not work or wiring is messed up. Use the ssp and get familiar with the AC setup in your car. And if you haven't recharged the refrigerant do so before anything else.
