Nasty weather tho' to be honest if I lived in the US I'd probably be a storm chaser!

Same meme we use here in Alaska. With plowing, take the number of lanes formerly on the road and divide by two. Two lane roads become one lane. Three lane roads are 1.5 lanes.

Brutal weather for me as well in north idaho usa, but luckily my Touareg doesn't mind it at all.
Fun to watch the snow plows followed by loaders putting the snow in dump trucks to haul away. Are they recycling snow now?
