Last week I bought a 2013 Touareg Hybrid with RNS 850, and I am just loving it. I was researching this car for a long time before I bought it, especially in this forum. I got VAG-COM right away to do the tweaks and modifications I wanted, but I am still having trouble with a few. I would appreciate any help or insight.
Success:
1. Open/Close windows with key
2. VIM
3. Seatbelt chime
4. Green menu
Failure:
1. Changing Alternate Speed from KPH to MPH. - I read a thread before where they thought that is was hardcoded into the cluster. Has anyone since that thread been able to accomplish this?
2. Showing Artist/Song title in MFD when listening to radio/Sirius - When I listen to bluetooth audio, the artist, album, and song title are all displayed. Right now, only the station number is displayed like 102.7 FM or BPM for Sirius. Did anyone get this done and also have the information scroll?
3. Showing full artist/song title/album on RNS 850 on FM (HD) radio - I looked around in the green menu extensively, and I know that the RNS unit does receive all the information. It is in the /radio/hd section (I am not in front of it right now, so I can not recall exactly the folder names). When we listen to Sirius, we can open up a new window using the extras button that shows this information, but it does not show up on HD Radio.
4. I noticed in VCDS and in the green menu a section that listed my treg as front wheel drive. Anyone else notice this?
